How and What Personal Information We Collect
We collect information from you when you interact with us, including, but not limited to:
- When you are an actual or potential innovator, investor, consultant, supplier, advisor, or business partner.
- When you are a business owner, entrepreneurial leader, or talented individual interested in the Growth-On-Demand ecosystem or the opportunities we provide (e.g., as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence or Venture Building Partner).
- When you send us an email (e.g., sending your CV for recruitment purposes).
- When you engage with us on social media or visit our website.
- When you have an appointment with us at a physical Place location.
We collect information about you from other sources when :
- You are a recruitment candidate and have given a third-party employment recruiter permission to share your CV with us.
- The information is made available on commercial websites.
Personal Information Collected for Investors, Partners, and Suppliers : Includes names, email addresses, work addresses, and information required to verify identity (passports, ID documents, proof of home addresses) for references, background checks, and other similar checks
Job Applicants and Future Talent : We will collect information from your CV for recruitment purposes. If you are not selected, we may keep your information for up to 10 years. For employees, further information will be collected from background checks with prior consent.
Venture Building and Networking Events : Information on past and future attendees and speakers for our portfolio forums and networking events, including name, title, photo, and biography.
Our Use of Your Information
We use your information based on our legitimate interests, legal and regulatory requirements (including our fiduciary duties), contractual necessity, and/or your consent.
We use your information for the purposes of the following legitimate interests :
- Responding to your enquiries and resolving your complaints.
- Assessing your application for employment.
- Communicating with you about service updates and marketing, and potential business, partnership, or career opportunities within the Growth-On-Demand ecosystem.
- Compliance with our legal and regulatory obligations.
- Compliance with Know Your Customer, anti-money laundering, and similar checks.
- Obtaining professional services from our lawyers, accountants, consultants, and auditors.
- Conducting market or other due diligence in respect of potential or actual investment opportunities.
- Searching and assessing potential investment and value creation opportunities for The Guild and the portfolio companies we manage (Atelier ventures).
- Transfer to a potential buyer or merger partner.
- Improving our marketing materials.
- Processing data generated by AI assessment agents shall be ‘secure by design’ and comply with the transparency requirements of the EU AI Act 2024.

Your information may be transferred to a country outside the European Economic Area (EEA) – such as the US or other non-EEA countries. Where this occurs, we ensure the transfer is subject to appropriate safeguards in accordance with data protection laws, which may include incorporating the European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the SCCs.

Retention and Deletion
The data we collect will be retained for as long as it is needed to fulfil the purposes set out in this privacy statement, which is a period of 10 years, or longer where permitted or required by law or in the natural course of business.
